Home Automation eHouse – Installing a configuring> OpenRemote environment control for building automation and visualization eHouse .
Due to the very large time-consuming and installing of OpenRemote.Org , which, together with a downloading files from Internet : OpenRemote , components , libraries , configuration can take even a few days.For ease the installation we present configured version dedicated for eHouse system ready to compile and install .
Tests were performed on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64b.
To integrate a OpenRemote environment with eHouse system must perform Next steps:
- install Software Management and Java version 1.6.0_35 (tested version 64b): c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_35 (other versions may cause error when compiling especially versions (1.7.x)
- install the latest version MySQL
- Create the data Beehive database and user “beehive” the password “beehivepass” (The first time you run, the correct can change password)
- Download a compressed archive Environmental OpenRemote.Org from the address OpenRemote.Org for Building Automation eHouse and unzip
- All directories in the archive copy to disk d:\ to the root directory
- close of all open applications
- run file “d:\openremote.init\ant-win7-64b.bat”, that compiles all the source and start Tomcat and the OpenRemote.Org.
Compilation may take from 3 to 30 minutes depending on your hardware. - You should watch it if errors not occurring when compiling : in the important moments compilation is stopped in order you could check whether or not occurring, for each module OpenRemote.Org (Beehive , Controller , Designer).

- run from browser browser “localhost:8080/designer”
- You choose field “Create Account ” and create user

- Once you have created the data, check Designer if appeared new items.
- After verifying the correctness of you import from eHouse to OpenRemote.Org, disable setting the database recovery “ehousecommunication.ExportOpenRemoteDesignerObjects=false”
- You need to enter to the editor of the panels and put string any objects.
- save the settings panel , Designer and settings
- Run the browser browser “localhost:8080/controller” and log on with the same user data
- You should synchronize the data in the login window.
- At this point, environment OpenRemote.Org is installed , configured and running
- Next time you should be run ” d:\or\output\OpenRemote-Controller-2.0.0\bin\start.bat”
- to ensure proper collaboration eHouse system and OpenRemote.Org run the application eHouse4OpenRemote.jar that is the gateway between OpenRemote and eHouse controllers.
